Our Managing Editor Luke Barras-Hill quizzed Jan-Henrik Andersson, Chief Commercial Officer at Munich Airport on the strategy moving forward.

At the time of the interview, Jan-Henrik Andersson was six months into the job and said he is ‘enjoying and embracing’ every day.

For our discussion, he offers an update on commercial, security, IT and digital operations.

Looking at the travel retail space specifically, Andersson speaks of finding a fresh focus following the ‘biggest crisis ever’ by building greater flexibility and cooperation into the business model.

He also singles out one important component that he says will be key to moving forward from the crisis, as conditions become more stable.
