Coty Travel Retail Asia Pacific has opened Australia’s first Kylie Cosmetics duty free store at Sydney Heinemann Tax & Duty Free.
The beauty brand, launched by reality TV star and entrepreneur Kylie Jenner in 2015, has best-sellers including the Matte Lip Kit, Pressed Blush Powder, Kybrow Kits and skincare sets. It was relaunched as fully vegan in July 2021.
Since December 2022, Kylie Beauty has been available from the 23sqm store at the primary Heinemann store in T1 Departures.
The space is dressed in pink and features highly instagrammable photo spots, including a human-sized Matte Lip Kit, a pink scooter, and a kandy kart with specially decorated chocolates and lollipops.
Onsite beauty specialists are available to give advice in a dedicated consultation area, and hand out unique boarding passes that offer opportunities to receive free gifts and enter giveaways.
Following the launch, a further pop-up store is planned for April 2023 to further engage travellers.
