By Luke Barras-hill |

Eudes Fabre has spent more than 15 years at Lagardère Travel Retail, having joined in 2006.
Eudes Fabre departed his position as Chief Executive Officer of Lagardère Travel Retail North Asia on 10 March ‘to pursue new career opportunities’.
In a circular to the company’s partners seen by TRBusiness, Séverine Lanthier, Group Chief Strategy and Development Officer and Asia Chief Operating Officer, Lagardère Travel Retail, confirmed that a new CEO will be appointed for the region.
Lanthier will take responsibility on an interim basis as CEO and will be supported by Ann Pang, Lagardère Travel Retail CEO Singapore and Malaysia, who will oversee local operations.
Fabre was instrumental in helping to establish Lagardère Travel Retail’s China business in 2007.
In his role as CEO North Asia, he was responsible for an estate spanning more than 32 airports and 28 high-speed train stations with a network of 480 stores across all segments (Travel Essentials, Duty Free & Fashion and Foodservice).
He played an important role in accelerating growth opportunities for the travel retailer such as the important strategic partnership with JD . com and China Jianyin Investment, with together took a minority stake (22.36%) of Lagardère Travel Retail Asia in 2021, and subsequent cooperation with CNSC (see links below for related coverage).
“I warmfully thank Eudes for his journey at Lagardère Travel Retail and wish him well on his new ventures,” commented Lanthier, who thanked Lagardère Travel Retail’s partners for their continued support, pointing to stronger collaboration in the future.
“Rest assured that Ann, our team and myself are fully committed to delivering the highest standards of partnership you rightly expect from us,” added Lanthier.
