PR GTR opens first ever Aberlour boutique with Everrich Duty Free

The launch follows an impactful brand refresh, the launch of their GTRX trio and the global ‘Everything Considered’ campaign this year.
Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail (GTR) and Aberlour have announced the opening of the first ever Aberlour Boutique, situated in the Departures YP concourse of Terminal 1, Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport.
Designed in partnership with Pernod Ricard GTR’s long-standing partner Everrich Duty Free, the 350 sq ft store sits at the heart of one of Asia’s most dynamic travel retail locations, Taiwan, and artfully combines the heritage, storytelling and full range of Aberlour’s meticulously crafted Speyside single malt with a unique consumer experience that connects to the very soul of Taiwan.
It was opened with a theatrical ribbon-cutting ceremony on August 27, with Everrich’s President, Mr Kevin Chiang and Pernod Ricard GTR’s CEO, Mr Laurent Pillet in attendance.

This stunning boutique is a bold statement of our ambition to accelerate Aberlour’s presence in Asia and bring our vision for the brand to life in a way that is truly global. Each quarter of the store will bring something new to discover, something remarkable to share and I can’t wait to see how it is received by shoppers.”
After a rousing lion dance performance, Mr Chiang and Mr Pillet spoke to the strength of their partnership in achieving a world first brand store for Aberlour and the exclusive product journey their teams have created for travellers, before toasting the future success of the boutique and leading a convivial tour of the space.
Echoing the June activation in Taipei Airport, which marked the start of Aberlour’s global roll-out in travel retail, the new boutique is dressed in accordance with the new brand visual identity; the iconic red representing Aberlour’s distillery oak doors, the beige of Scottish barley fields and the warm gold of Aberlour’s fine amber liquid – a celebration of its craft, heritage and commitment to the natural environment.

Seamlessly blending Scottish and Taiwanese traditions, travellers will be welcomed into the store with a wish tree at the entrance, where they can post their wishes for good luck and prosperity.
A range of stamps will be available to personalise the wish cards depicting symbols of everyday Taiwanese life. Visitors will then be offered the opportunity to taste a dram from the Aberlour range, thoughtfully paired with sweet pineapple cake, a local delicacy.
The traveller journey of discovery continues with access to the 2025 Travel Retail Exclusive range: Aberlour 13 Year Old Double Cask Matured, Aberlour 16 Year Old Double Charred Selection, and Aberlour Suthainn Double Sherry Cask Solera.
Then there is the highly sought after Small Batch 15 Year Old, and the Small Batch 17 Year Old, which has a limited availability of just 300 bottles.
Pernod Ricard GTR and Aberlour have also developed a special pipeline of innovations, which will appear on sale in the Aberlour Boutique over the coming months.
