Hamburg Airport has unveiled a new redesigned shopping area following the remodelling of several shopping spaces on the pier and in the Airport Plaza since the beginning of the year.
The shops are located after security with several stores changing places in the Southern Passenger Pier, reopening with modern designs and optimised usage of existing retail space.
The Heinemann Duty Free shop has been completely refurbished in recent weeks. The offer comprises premium sunglasses from numerous luxury designer brands including Gucci, Dior, Prada, Tom Ford, Saint Laurent, Miu Miu, Dolce and Gabbana, Ray Ban, Oakley and Le Specs.
OPTIMAL TRAVEL EXPERIENCE
Lutz Deubel, Head of Center Management at Hamburg Airport said: “At Hamburg Airport, we never sit still in our commitment to providing passengers with an optimal travel experience and maximum comfort.
“This of course, includes a colourful range of shopping options. We have been in partnership with Gebr. Heinemann for many years and the company has a great deal of experience and awareness of customer needs.
“We are thrilled about the fresh new design of the shops, along with even more products and offers for customers to discover.”
Olaf Benjamin, Purchasing Director, Watches & Jewellery Gebr. Heinemann said the retailer was happy to introduce new brands to its customers at Hamburg Airport and further strengthen its long-term partnerships with them.
Menawhile, Gebr. Heinemann’s Destination Hamburg concept store is now located in the airport plaza with a ‘regional design atmosphere.’ This offers typical Hamburg souvenir items (products from nearby St Pauli and Hamburg Football Club among others).
The previous Destination Hamburg store, which offered a similar product range, was located adjacent to Gate B53. The new location is more prominent and easily accessible for passengers directly after security in the Airport Plaza.
Situated close to Gate A18, Heinemann has also launched its fashion and accessories and watches and Jewellery (FAWJ) multibrand concepts. These sell bags, leather goods and jewellery and watches in a range of price categories.
Brands include Longchamp, Coach, See by Chloé, Furla, Tumi, Pinko, Longines, Breitling, Tag Heuer, Rado, Tissot, Swatch and Swarovski.
Jan Richter, Purchasing Director Fashion & Accessories Gebr. Heinemann added: “We are proud to open these new FAWJ multi-brand concepts at our home-base in Hamburg.
“The goal for us is to create an exciting and outstanding environment to surprise and please or customers. It is part of the Heinemann FAWJ Strategy to roll-out the concept globally, but always linked to the individual local requirements and local sense.”
