Brief details of Delhi plan

The GMR-led Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL) consortium has revealed its medium to long term plan to create a new terminal building with three runways, a shopping mall, hotels and a nine-hole golf course by

2010.
DIAL, which is currently tendering a three-year interim duty free contract at the existing airport, hopes to have all of these facilities in place in time for the Commonwealth Games in 2010, including a low-cost terminal and a direct rail link to the city.
