Victorinox targeting ‘bleisure’ travellers with its latest luggage collection
By Benedict Evans |

Built to withstand daily wear and tear, each bag provides adaptability with a gender-neutral, reliable and purposeful design.
Victorinox has introduced the Altmont Modern collection of travel luggage, which targets the evolving needs of the modern young professional, and builds on the success of the overall Altmont franchise as well as the VX Sport Evo collection.
Hybrid journeys require transitional luggage with modular functionality, and Altmont Modern has been thoughtfully designed to deliver smart and secure storage, elegant design and quality construction that moves friction-free through any travel experience.
Victorinox has focused on considered and efficient internal organisation that meets every ‘bleisure’ (business-leisure) need using durable, long-lasting materials.
Storage and security
Backpacks and daypacks feature a removable laptop sleeve for a 15.6in electronic device – this sleeve can be used as an integrated item or removed as a standalone sleeve.
This protection is mirrored in efficient storage solutions including lockable zippers for peace of mind, a key fob, a sound pocket, business organization and a sunglasses holder.

All models come with a 1+10 year warranty.
With security and safety as priorities, the collection features reflective accents for increased visibility, a light mounting fixture for added safety and a trolley pass-through on smaller items to keep luggage items together.
Every component of each model has been carefully considered, thoughtfully designed and constructed in alignment with Victorinox’s Swiss design and engineering standards.
Colourways and Quality
The Altmont Modern collection is available in 10 styles and 3 colorways.
Each item can be selected in either black, stone white or navy blue and all are constructed from recycled Polyester (rPET).

Each model uses a recycled lining fabric that is antimicrobial, using Silvadur technology to inhibit any growth of microorganisms.
Consumers can also integrate standalone items together to create their preferred travel combination.
The City Daypack, for example, includes a removable laptop sleeve, anti-scratch compartment, bottle holder and interlocking zipper features.
Alternatively, the Compact Backpack has an integrated multipurpose net, additional storage space, trolley pass-through feature and highly optimised organisation design to keep essentials secure and easy to locate.
