Moncler Pour Femme and Moncler Pour Homme will be exclusively available at QDF during the month of January

Italy-based luxury goods and jewellery house Moncler has launched its first-ever line of fragrances in worldwide travel retail with Qatar Duty Free (QDF).

The signature fragrances for men and women will be available on an exclusive basis with QDF through January before rolling out in the Middle East and globally.

Visually arresting pop-ups located at QDF’s two core P&C shops at the South Retail Plaza of Hamad International Airport (HIA) are staging the skus.

Travellers will discover novel features on the ‘borraccia’ flask-shaped bottlings such as an LED screen in a nod to Moncler’s mountainous roots and adventurous spirit.

Customers can personalise the illuminated message panels on the bottles using a Bluetooth-enabled smartphone app and add special messages to create gifting opportunities.

Thabet Musleh, Vice President, Qatar Duty Free, said: “We are delighted to be the first travel retailer in the world to launch Moncler’s debut fragrances, marking a fitting start to an exciting year ahead. Aside from their distinct and exclusive scent accords, both perfumes are packaged in eye-catching bottles, a unique component which undoubtedly stands out.

“We are committed to providing an unrivalled retail and dining offering for all our passengers travelling through HIA – the Best Airport in the World – and introducing our customers to a memorable shopping experience. We continue to grow and expand, and we look forward to further enhancing our retail portfolio with many more unique offerings.”

Both fragrances ‘signal a veritable expedition for the senses’ and evoke ‘a bold synergy of nature, exploration and discovery – the cornerstones of the Moncler universe, a global brand synonymous with mountain heritage and a new concept of luxury’.

Moncler Pour Femme is a floral woody musky fragrance, containing a pair of custom accords designed exclusively for Moncler, while Moncler Pour Homme is a is a woody aromatic fragrance.

Philippe Bénacin, CEO, Interparfums added: “After several years of discussion, research and development, these two fragrances have come to life in a way that truly captures the essence of Moncler.

“Moncler as a brand has such a covetable status – it’s a brand that really embodies innovation, which is why these perfumes feel like the perfect continuation of its story.

“With these two fragrances, even the bottle itself is a new adventure, a new spirit, and a new way of communicating – whether it is to write your name, a special message, or anything you like.”
