DFS hosts Too Faced at JFK in first travel retail showing
By Luke Barras-hill |
Beauty label Too Faced is celebrating its first travel retail counter at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) by offering makeovers to travellers.
The Estée Lauder Companies’ brand opened with DFS at JFK Terminal 4 last week, with a grand opening taking place through to 17 November.
Visitors can explore an immersive location that plays heavily on senses of sight, smell and touch, in line with the vision of Co-founder and Chief Creative Officer Jerrod Blandino.
GIFT WITH PURCHASE
The space allows them to sample the brand’s latest products and travel-sized beauty essentials while snapping ‘selfies’ to share on social media.
In an added incentive, customers spending $100 will receive an exclusive Too Faced pink heart makeup bag.
“With this new shopping experience, Too Faced hopes to introduce new customers to the brand and offer existing fans an opportunity to purchase their favourites in a fun, new duty free setting,” said the brand.
