Ferrero Travel Market on returning to TFWA Asia Pacific

In this TRBusiness ‘Shorts’ video interview, produced in partnership with Bluedog Group and filmed on location during the TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference in Singapore, Sergio Salvagno, GM at Ferrero Travel Market, discussed the importance of Asia Pacific as a growing area of focus for the confectionery business.

Salvagno highlights the industry’s bounce-back since Covid, with Ferrero Travel Market recording an impressive 40% growth YTD, as levels rise to (nearly) pre-Covid levels.

He also points to sustainability as a pre-requisite consideration for the industry at large, especially where it concerns the sourcing of ingredients and adherence to principles of environmental and social governance.

With gifting and sharing notably among the top drivers in consumer purchasing decisions, Ferrero is making concerted efforts to develop and innovate products specifically for travel retail, which has included the release of its La Biscotteria concept, Kinderini.
