According to Eugenio Gaudio, President of Dufre, the company still considers duty free and travel retail to be ‘a very important market’ and commits to support the industry through this challenging period by maintaining a differentiated offer and attractive promotions, exclusively for the channel.
“This market has to be a showcase for our novelties,” said Gaudio. “Obviously we expect online sales to increase at this time…so the industry needs to work together to adapt its approach when it comes to engaging customers.”
The family company, which has been operating since 1989 in duty free and travel retail, represents Italian fine food and wine brands.
