Over 2.6 million people have already booked to travel with British Airways to London over the festive and new-year period, according to Tourist agency, Visit Britain.
According to the airline, on Friday 21 December 102,000 customers will travel across the airline’s network and on Christmas Day, over 27,000 people will travel with British Airways.
2 January 2013 will see most people travelling after the Christmas break, with over 91,000 people flying with the airline that day. It’s estimated that in 2013 tourism figures will grow to 31.7 million people visiting the UK.
