DFS Group has opened a first-of-its kind jewellery concept in Macau.

Luxury travel retailer DFS Group has opened its first House of Jewels concept store, a multi-brand 2,500sq ft space at T Galleria by DFS, Macau, Shoppes at Four Seasons.

The space features nine European jewellery brands, seven of which are exclusive to DFS in Macau: Damiani, Dinh Van, Fred, Garrard, Ginette NY, Persée Paris, RedLine, Stephen Webster and Vanrycke.

Designed to be agile and modular, the store features soft, blush tones and sleek lines. An Experience Bar and VIP room cater to the “modern-day globetrotter”.

The store was opened on 5 May, when guests were welcomed with Champagne and a series of activations, along with customised gift wrapping for purchases.

“The unveiling of the House of Jewels marks the beginning of a new era – where we honour the desires of our discerning clients by providing a memorable experience that is highly curated and immersive and showcases exclusive offerings,” said Johan Pretorius, Managing Director Macau, DFS Group.

DFS Group’s Experience Bar is designed to meet the needs of ‘discerning’ clients.

“This, married with our personalised customer service approach, showcases our readiness as a luxury retailer to welcome a new wave of modern globetrotters to be delighted at our stores.”

Charles-Henry Chenard, Senior Vice President Watches and Jewelry, DFS Group added: “Through decades of history cultivated alongside some of the world’s most coveted luxury watches and jewellery brands, DFS has long been lauded for its unparalleled line-up and authority in both categories.

DFS Group is focusing on European brands with the concept.

“We have evolved alongside our seasoned shoppers – as well as their next generation of tastemakers – and have answered their needs by developing concepts such as House of Jewels which features a curated selection of fine jewellery, from precious colour stones and diamond engagement rings to collectible pieces.

“We look forward to welcoming clients to this exclusive new selection and bespoke experience.”

Back in March, DFS Group hosted its 11th annual Masters of Wines & Spirits exhibition, featuring a bespoke collection of more than 100 of the world’s rarest fine wines, spirits and Champagnes.
