French beauty house Guerlain has brought a series of new products to market in recent months, from the collectible Terracotta Light Limited Edition bronzers to the ‘feel good’ fragrance, Aqua Allegoria Rosa Verde, and the nourishing Aqua Allegoria Hand Creams.

The Terracotta Light Limited Edition, launched on 1 March, draws inspiration from the Soleils de Légende edition of the bronzing powder, which was first introduced in 2008, giving the signature, amber-toned case a new tortoiseshell motif.

The design is paired with colours inspired by earthy tones, bringing a modern dynamic to the evolution of the Terracotta case.

The collection comprises three exclusive cases featuring this new motif, in a trio of shades: beige, amber and ocher.

This contrast between the tortoiseshell motif and the wash of colour, adorned with the brand’s logo in capital letters, makes it a covetable buy.

It’s available in Terracotta Light’s three best-selling shades: 01 Light Warm (Beige Case); 02 Medium Cool (Amber Case); and 03 Medium Warm (Ocher Case).

The collector’s case is designed to be refillable. The formulation of the bronzer, however, remains unchanged, featuring 96% naturally-derived ingredients and a harmony of tones (a satin bronzing shade, a tone-on-tone matte shade, a vibrant blush shade and a universal luminiser) that blend together to give skin a sun-blushed glow effect.

The campaign was shot by British fashion photographer Charlotte Wales, featuring models Aivita Muze, Shin Hyun-ji and Aya Jones.

More new additions from te company, include Aqua Allegoria Rosa Verde, a new ‘feel good’ fragrance composed by Guerlain perfumer Delphine Jelk.

Also launched on 1 March, Rosa Verde is said to convey a ‘pick-me-up’ feeling of diving into cool water, with Jelk creating an ‘almost thirst-quenching’ cucumber extract.

Paired with rose essence, the scent gradually unfolds on skin, blending the natural freshness of its petals with cucumber’s botanical and aquatic facets, highlighted with a touch of mint.

Established in 1999, Guerlain’s Aqua Allegoria fragrances take their cue from nature, with up to 95% natural ingredients and formulated with a responsibly farmed beetroot alcohol.

Aqua Allegoria Rosa Verde stands out for being ‘guided by emotion’, with its mild and delicate scent also featuring a soft pear note mellowed by a white musk accord.

Crafted from 15% recycled glass, the Aqua Allegoria collection bottles are designed to last – consumers can simply unscrew the spray by hand and replenish with an easy-to-use 200ml refill, featuring an anti-drop system, which is compatible with all sizes (75ml and 125ml).

The move to exploring the emotions sparked by fragrances sees Guerlain shine a light on its three hero fragrances: Mandarine Basilic, which is said to convey the vitality of this sun-kissed trip; Florabloom, which is likened to ‘the euphoria of running through a field of multi-coloured flowers; and Rosa Rossa, which is designed to capture the serenity of a morning stroll through a rose garden.

Furthermore, this experience has led the French beauty house to create a new collection of hand creams that bring these three fragrances to a cream enriched with beeswax butter, which gently hydrates and nourishes hands.

Composed of more than 97% naturally-derived ingredients, the hand creams features a lightweight formulation that leaves hands feeling soft, supple and subtly scented.

The packaging is inspired by the hexagonal shape of a honeycomb, with the bottle made entirely in France.

Guerlain’s Aqua Allegoria Hand Creams launched on 1 June.
