Here, you’ll discover five important facts – brought to you by the leading travel retail consumer research agency m1nd-set – about what you really need to know in the travel retail market, now.
In this edition m1nd-set tells us that between December 2019 and February 2020 the highest share of purchases bought as gifts were registered in North America and Asia Pacific.
Aside from the Souvenirs and Gift items category the highest number of purchases made for the purpose of gifting were in confectionery (59%).
Interestingly, suitability as a gift ranks in third position among the drivers to visit duty free stores and in first among the drivers to purchase.
