Second Victoria’s Secret to open at Changi

Nuance-Watson Singapore has announced it is to open its second Victoria’s Secret Beauty & Accessories store at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 2.
The airport’s Perfume & Cosmetics concessionaire says that the brand’s second standalone store will open on Friday June 7 on a three-year contract this week and will be managed by the airport’s incumbent Perfumes & Cosmetics retailer.
Nuance says that the store will be similar to its successful Terminal 1 format, but with ‘a refreshed interior concept’. The new store will also offer customers access to an assortment of best-selling Victoria’s Secret Beauty products including ‘fun and flirty prestige fragrances’, such as the recently launched Fabulous range, available in EDP, Body Mist and Lotion.
In a statement, Nuance-Watson said: “The design of the Changi Airport location is contemporary and glamorous. The façade takes a modern approach with a dynamic store front. The store interior features sophisticated elements such as black cherry fixtures, lit focal walls, a gallery of iconic black and white imagery, and a video wall featuring Victoria’s Secret Supermodel video footage, showcasing products in an environment that’s sexy, sophisticated and forever young.”
Adding his comments, Ken Tse, Managing Director of Nuance-Watson Singapore, said: “We have seen tremendous growth for Victoria’s Secret at Changi Airport since we first introduced the brand to the Asia passengers in 2008. Over the years, the brand has grown to be one of the best-selling brands that rake in impressive sales turnover.
“We have studied the profiles of VSBA best customers and almost 70% of its sales contribution came from the APAC region consumers. Terminal 2 serves the regional bound passengers and to have a VSBA store at this terminal makes perfect sense, in terms of sales opportunity and airport retail offerings.”
