FlyFit snacks gain new listings
By Doug Newhouse |
Vitalit Laboratories has launched its new FlyFit portfolio of health food products at nine ‘grabandfly’ shops at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
The new range has also had good success with listings on a number of major airlines, including EVA Air with its nutritional bar; Singapore Airlines with the bars and FlyFit vitamin shots; and Jetstar with blueberry drinks and bars. The Privium Lounge at Amsterdam Airport is also about to start serving FlyFit’s vitality boosters in its lounge.
Back in the air, Norwegian is also carrying the brand’s vitamin shots in its amenity kits for both premium economy and business class passengers. Meanwhile, Spirit Airlines in US is offering the cranberry bars as part of its snack pack offering. Saudian Airlines will also begin offering FlyFit products from April 1 within its business and first class lounges.
‘IMMUNE BOOSTING QUALITIES’
This new range of health foods claims to contain immune system boosting qualities and is the brainchild of three entrepreneurs, of which Boudewijn Van Eeghene is one partner. FlyFit products consist of drinks, bars and powders to combat fatigue, dehydration and the effects of flying and contain no added colours or preservatives.
Boudewijn Van Eeghene said the company has also created its first production run of FlyFit healthy yoghurt which is halal.
The company says that its FlyFit products are made of a carefully balanced mix of vitamins and minerals that hydrate the body, boost resistance and reduce fatigue during and after intense travel, ‘whether by plane, boat, car or train’.
It adds that the range of snacks and drinks contains a highly concentrated mix of raw fruit extracts, ‘specifically developed’ to help restore the body from the symptoms of travel fatigue.
