Nuance Watson Singapore triumph at Changi with Fossil

By Charlotte Turner |

Nuance Watson Singapore has won a tender for a specialty/brand name shop at Changi Airport’s Terminal 2 transit lounge, with fashion brand, Fossil; a well-received victory after last month’s disappointing P&C concession loss to Shilla.

As previously reported by TRBusiness last month, incumbent P&C operator Nuance-Watson Singapore, had to hand over its beauty concession to Shilla Travel Retail Pte. Ltd.

Alessandra Piovesana, Regional Managing Director of Nuance-Watson (HK) told TRBusiness at the time that Nuance Watson was both ‘surprised and disappointed’ by the outcome of the Changi Airport tender.

The new modest 34sq m Fossil-branded specialty store, will be operated by Nuance Watson for a tenancy period of three years from 16 May 2014 to 15 May 2017, with no option to renew the contract.

Other companies bidding for the same concession included: BTC Clothier (S) Pte Ltd with British India; Chomel Pte Ltd with Chomel; Denni International Pte Ltd with Denni; Goodvine Pte Ltd with Tocco Toscano; Innovatez Pte Ltd with Sprouts; JI International Trading Co (Singapore) Pte Ltd with Michal Negrin; Lagardere Services Singapore Pte Ltd with Calvin Klein Underwear; NTS It Is Not The Same Singapore Pte Ltd with Desigual; Oroton Group (Singapore) Pte Ltd with Oroton; Sanwa F&B Pte Ltd with Sugarbite; Sidefame (S) Pte Ltd with Anteprima Wirebag; The Marketing Co Pte Ltd  with Accessorize and The V Pte Ltd with The Cookie Museum.
