ATÜ Duty Free has launched five new stores at Antalya Airport.

ATÜ Duty Free, the joint venture between TAV Airports and Unifree Duty Free/Gebr. Heinemann, has launched five new stores at Turkey’s Antalya International Airport.

The company, which secured the duty free contract at the airport in September, is now doubling its footprint with operations located across the departures and arrivals floors of Terminals 1 and 2 and at the bus gate.

By the end of November, with the reopening of its renovated units, ATÜ Duty Free will lift its total operational space at the airport to 12,000sq m.

It commenced operations at its main departures duty free store at the T2 International Terminal, alongside Luxury Square and Old Bazaar concepts while also introducing two arrivals stores in April, coinciding with the inauguration of the airport’s newly expanded terminals.

Ersan Arcan, President and CEO of ATÜ Duty Free, said: “By expanding our operations at Antalya International Airport, we continue to offer passengers a world-class shopping experience. With this expansion project in Antalya International Airport, terminal capacity has doubled, while commercial areas have nearly tripled.

“Considering Antalya’s strength in tourism and the airport’s increased capacity, we offer visitors a wide range of products that reflect our cultural heritage as well as access to the world’s most prestigious brands. Our goal is to enrich the travel experience for all our passengers.”

By the end of November, with the reopening of its renovated units, ATU Duty Free will lift its total operational space at Antalya Airport to 12,000sq m.

As reported, revenue from TAV Airport’s 50% stake in ATÜ Duty Free rose 25% to €161m in the first six months of 2025.

However, duty free spend per passenger (excluding Atatürk Airport) fell 12% to €8.1 versus the same period in 2024, with SPP diluted by – among other things – the ramp-up of ATÜ Duty Free’s business at Antalya Airport.

ATÜ Duty Free operates duty free retail services across three continents, in seven countries, 15 airports, and one cruise port, with over 110 stores.
