Umdasch Shopfitting aims to ‘strengthen its competence’ in the fitting out of international retail brands in the luxury retail segment which obvioulsy includes DF&TR.
COMPLETE TAKEOVER PLANNED
Umdasch has now agreed to take over all the remaining shares in ATT at the end of this year, as well as its Serbian subsidiary company ATT Interijeri d.o.o which were founded in 2009 by Ivan Tvrdeić and his wife Davorka.
The company has been family owned since it was founded and Umdasch says it is currently regarded as one of the most prestigious suppliers of furnishings for luxury retail brands. It adds that ATT has also impressed with its steady growth and its ‘outstanding position as regards craftsmanship’.
The company recently achieved revenues ‘in the single-digit million euro range’, although the actual amount is confidential. It currently employs around 60 staff at two locations: Zagreb in Croatia and Belgrade in Serbia.
PREMIUM RETAIL DIVISION
The Umdasch company says ATT will now be integrated into the Premium Retail Division and be led in future by the former ATT manager, Kruno Filipovic and Roman Fußthaler as Managing Directors. Roman Fußthaler comes from Austria and has worked for Umdasch for some twenty years – with more than five as the head of the Premium Division controlled from Oxford (UK).
Among the customers of this Division are Christian Dior, Roja Dove, Ferrari, Nike, Etro, De Beers and others, as well as numerous travel retail operators at international airports, like the Dufry Group and Dubai Airport.
The Division has also created customer experience stores for the Victoria & Albert and Tate Modern and international luxury department stores. It recently succeeded in winning Harrods as a customer.
