In a novel move, fast-expanding beauty brand, Rituals, has launched seven new travel retail exclusive packs – where the contents of each one were chosen through social media feedback.

The Netherlands-based company – which now ships to 25 countries the duty free and travel retail channel – launched the lines on 1 April.

Rituals TRE Samurai“We conducted extensive social media-driven research asking Rituals users what they’d like to find if we were to put together a collection of our products when travelling and on holiday,” explains Neil Ebbutt, Director Wholesale, Rituals.

“Their choices were almost unanimously for our body, skin, hand and sun care products. So we’ve put together five different pouches based on our most popular rituals containing our oils, foams, creams and scrubs. Another two pouches are specifically for hand, skin and sun care.”

He adds: “We expect all of the seven packs to do extremely well. The pouches themselves are beautifully made and designed so they actually have great gifting potential as well.” Each pouch contains four products and the pack volumes range from 30-75ml to keep them below the 100ml cabin security limit. [Details of all seven sets are listed below.]

Within DF&TR, Rituals has expanded to more than 100 shop-in-shops within airports as well as listings with 10 airlines including Qatar Airways, Iceland Air, Saudi Arabia Airlines and Virgin Atlantic. The brand is also on board more than 100 cruise ships and appears in 1,100 luxury boutique hotels and at chains, such as Radisson.
