Travel Blue is to launch a new mobile accessories brand aimed at millennials. 

 

Products from the new Lexingham label will be offered in GTR with a global 24-month warranty.

 

A new division of Travel Blue, Lexingham provides professional solutions with latest technology in five major mobile accessory categories. These are power banks, cables, chargers, audio and adapters.

 

Lexingham, Global Brand Manager Daniel Levin said: “The new brand is a professional range of mobile accessories aimed at tech-savvy consumers. The millennials are looking for brands or offerings that ‘talk their language.’”

 

BOOSTING CONVERSION RATES AMONG MILLENNIALS

After researching the target audience and working with professionals in the user experience field, Lexingham built an extensive range of solutions suited to millennials.

Research undertaken by Travel Blue indicates the conversion rate of millennials in airports is between 11% and 23%, much less than other traveller groups.

 

On the flip side, it also cites millennials as the the biggest digital users, with 43% of them managing their personal life on smartphones (Source: Expedia/Future Foundation). In comparison, 32% of Generation X and 17% of Baby-Boomers are electing to do the same.

 

The needs and shopping behaviour of millennial travellers were addressed in detail at the recent Summit of the Americas in Orlando.

 

Presentations were delivered by Barbara Wold, International Speaker, Author and Business Strategist and Peter Mohn, CEO & Co-Owner, m1nd-set, who was on stage alongside Anna Marchesini, Project Manager.
