$4.1bn Dubai expansion on schedule

Khalifa Al Zaffin, Director of Engineering and Projects at the Dubai Department of Civil Aviation told local press at the weekend that the second phase of Dubai International Airport's expansion is on schedule.The entire project
covering Terminal 3, Concourse 2 and Concourse 3 is costing $4.1bn and is scheduled for completion by 2008.
According to local reports he said that Terminal 3 and Concourse 2 will be ready by the last quarter of 2006 and will be officially opened by the first quarter of 2007.
