World of Patria to bring Yellow Tail wines to Cannes and the travel retail channel

By Caroline Sargent |

Premium wine, beer and spirit distributor, World of Patria International, will be introducing some new wines from the popular Australian brand Yellow Tail at this year’s TFWA World Exhibition, as they make their entrance into the travel retail channel.

Made with grapes sourced from the highest quality vineyards, Big Bold Red has decadent flavours of raspberries and strawberry jam. Great for easy drinking or as a partner to grilled pepper steak, hints of spice are combined with bursting notes of ripe dark fruits, giving it a rich, bold oak character.

A pale straw colour with green tinges, Yellow Tail’s Riesling is a fragrant, floral wine with delicious aromas of lemon, citrus and peach which can be enjoyed at any time, while the Jammy Red Roo with its red berries, vanilla and chocolate aromas makes for a bold, expressive red blend of Shiraz (80%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (10%).

World of Patria, International Managing Director, Rob Nichols comments, “We are always on the lookout for exciting new products that will help us strengthen our portfolio. Yellow Tail is a well-known Australian wine brand and we are pleased to have been chosen to be the distributor to help to launch them into travel retail. We have a good deal of experience in handling wine brands and we are confident Yellow Tail will have a successful future in travel retail.”
