Furla upgrades retail space at Dubai International Airport

By Caroline Sargent |

Furla has upgraded its presence at Dubai International Airport, Concourse B, by opening a new 12 sqm ‘personalized corner’ unit with the support of Dubai Duty Free.

Originally merchandised within the generic fashion store, Furla relocated to its new point of sale 25 June.

Gerry Munday, Furla Global Travel Retail Director, says, “This upgrade is fully in line with Furla’s policy to ensure all travel retail locations are either freestanding boutiques, shop in shops or personalized corners. We would like to thank Dubai Duty Free for granting Furla this dedicated space, which we feel is essential to create the right atmosphere and the brand’s unique shopping experience.

“Middle East is one of the regions with the highest potential of growth for Furla and we are confident that this new positioning will reap the greatest benefits both for the retailer and the brand”.
