Say Hello to Hemp with The Body Shop

By Caroline Sargent |

L’Oréal Travel Retail is staging a series of European airport activations for The Body Shop to promote its quirky and original Hemp range of bath and body products.

The creative, rustic execution of the ‘Take Care of Your Body from Head to Toe’ campaign features exclusive and original merchandising and the use of eye-catching props such as a traditional market trolley, a wheelbarrow, old steel drums and ‘hives’ filled with Body Shop star products.

Travellers are further lured by an attractive gift offer – any purchase of three products qualifies for a complimentary 60ml travel-sized shower gel or a 50ml travel-sized body butter.

Established in 1998 the Hemp range has accumulated a loyal following. Top selling products include the 100ml Hand Protector, designed to restore moisture for up to 24 hours, along with moisture-rich body butters, lip protectors and a foot cream.

Fair Trade hemp seed oil has two major qualities, says The Body Shop: extreme moisturisation for even the driest skin and protection against moisture loss and environmental aggression.

The new Hemp Soap-on-a-Rope is the latest sku to join the range and is displayed prominently in the ‘retailtainment’ animation, currently running in Paris, Milan, Stockholm and Malaga (pictured above) for two months until the end of April.
