Mondelez World Travel Retail (WTR) is set to host its first ever ‘Delighting Travelers’ Webinar – a new global initiative to provide retailers and airports with insight and best practices so as to unlock the potential of confectionery in travel retail.

The webinar will take place 16 February 2015 at 9:00-10:00 (GMT+1), and will be repeated 17 February at 16:00-17:00 (GMT+1) to allow access across all times zones.

The Mondelez webinars are free to attend and open to all participants.

The one hour session will feature a number of highlights, including:

  • An overview of the huge growth potential in the confectionery category

  • New insight into category segmentation and shopper need states by nationality

  • Insight-led case studies from major travel retailers providing best practices on confectionery retail execution

  • An interactive vote to select the case study participants feel is worthy of the Delighting Travelers Award 2015.

Andreas Fehr, Managing Director at Mondelez WTR, says, “The Delighting Travelers Webinar is the next exciting step in our journey towards fully unlocking the potential of the confectionery category.

“By leveraging our huge shopper insights program and case studies from our world-class retail partners we can deliver a session which we feel will be incredibly beneficial to anyone looking to grow confectionery sales or to use confectionery as a growth driver for the rest of their business.

“We’re excited to use the webinar format for the first time and feel it provides a perfect platform for accessibility and interactivity.”
