Eraman Malaysia hands out KLIA shopping contest prizes

Eraman Malaysia runs the duty free at Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

Malaysian duty free and travel retail operator Eraman Malaysia has handed out prizes for its Shop & Stay contest held last September during a ceremony held yesterday (February 19) at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (EXpress, Level Three, Domestic Arrivals).

Eraman said the Shop & Stay contest was a way of rewarding customers which supported the initiative and helped generate “interest and awareness” of Eraman’s products and offers.

The contest received an ‘overwhelming’ response from the airport community and customers attracting thousands of entries.

During the Shop & Stay Contest period, customers who spent a minimum of RM40 ($10) in a single receipt at the EXpress convenience store, were entitled to join the contest and win luxury hotel stays in Malaysia. Additionally, customers were also entitled to RM10 cash-vouchers to be be redeemed at Chocolate Shop KLIA and the Duty Free Emporium in the international arrival hall at KLIA2.

SIX-MONTH CONTEST

The six-month contest started on 15 September 2017 and ends 14 March 2018. It rewards two winners for the September to October 2017, October to November 2017 and November to December 2017 contest cycles with exclusive four-day (three-night) stays at the Shangri La Rasa Sayang Resort & Spa (Penang), Tanjong Jara Resort (Terengganu) and Hyatt Regency (Sabah) hotels, respectively. In addition, 18 consolation winners will receive RM100 Eraman cash-vouchers.

Malaysia Airport (Niaga) Son Bhd General Manager Encik Zulhikam, who presented the prizes to the winners, said: “It is great to see we have so many loyal Eraman customers. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support. This contest which was open to the airport community, including Eraman staff as well as travellers patronising the airport is our way of expressing thanks to our loyal customers. We hope that with these exclusive prizes, our customers will get excited and be enticed to spend more at Eraman.”
