Düsseldorf Airport issues tender for electronics stores with 7-year contract

By Charlotte Turner |

Düsseldorf Airport has issued a Europe-wide invitation to retailers interested in bidding for four electronics stores, occupying a total sales area of 270sq m across airside and landside locations and operating under a seven-year contract.

The airport says that through this process it is looking to offer shoppers an ‘even greater selection of electronic goods’.

“The airport is looking for an innovative contractual partner with industry know-how for long-term cooperation,” it added.

“The new operator should not only deliver a high quality and appealing product range to meet the high customer expectations, but also be open-minded to innovation and willing to jointly develop new concepts.”

The announcement of the award procedure will be published on the airport’s Subreport ELViS portal and operations are scheduled to begin in Spring 2022.
