By Andrew Pentol |
Munich Airport has re-opened various retail outlets and restaurants in line with a gradual increase in air traffic.
Passengers at the airport, which revealed extensive Terminal 1 retail plans at the start of the year, can now purchase duty free products (perfumes, cosmetics, accessories and luxury goods) in Eurotrade’s MyDutyFree stores in Terminal 2.
More than 12 shops have reopened at the airport including My Corner (souvenirs, books, magazines and tobacco products) and Hermes. The FC Bayern Store, offering jerseys, shorts, socks and other items, has also started trading again.
Eight bars and restaurants including Starbucks, McDonalds and Subway are also operational.
