The L’Artisan Parfumeur pop-up is a ‘long-term’ activation.

Fragrance house Puig has partnered with Lagardère Travel Retail and Extime Duty Free to host a L’Artisan Parfumeur pop-up at Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) airport.

The long-term 27sqm boutique space is located at Terminal 2F. It is a first-of-its-kind pop-up for the L’Artisan Parfumeur brand.

Inspired by the line ‘celebrating craftsmanship à la française’, the activation immerses travellers in the brand’s French heritage.

Best-sellers take centre stage. A highlight is Soleil de Provence, described as an homage to the mimosa, with notes of lemon, benzoin, mimosa and ylang-ylang.

Visitors to the pop-up are offered a bespoke service, including engraving and personalisation options.

Leather gift-with-purchase items or leather coffrets are also available to purchase and are then embossed with initials.

A gift-wrapping ceremony sees products wrapped up with dried flowers, a leather cord, and a wax seal, which doubles as a stamp of authenticity.

L’Artisan Parfumeur pop-up: first digital campaign

The activity is supported by L’Artisan Parfumeur’s first digital campaign, which aims to inform travellers about the pop-up.

The omnichannel messaging targets international passengers before and during their trips. The brand is utilising Instagram and Facebook, in addition to display advertising.

Influencers will also share their own L’Artisan Parfumeur experiences live from the pop-up.

All elements of the space, from a tea tasting to bottle engraving, will be shared online.

L’Artisan Parfumeur’s classic fragrances have remained the same through the brand’s 40-year history. Throughout its history, the brand has partnered with 26 perfumers to develop its fragrances.

Each release is intended for fine fragrance connoisseurs, and those that admire both nature and “French finesse”.

“The long-term pop-up at one of Europe’s busiest airports, and the home city of the brand, marks an exciting step in L’Artisan Parfumeur’s global development,” said Kaatje Noens, Puig Executive VP Global Travel Retail.

“Together with Lagardère Travel Retail, we are committed to growing the niche fragrance category in the long term and invite travellers to discover L’Artisan Parfumeur’s artisanal values in our elegant boutique.”

Last month, Puig collaborated with King Power to launch the first-ever retail space for fragrance brand Penhaligon’s in Thailand.
