Aer Rianta International (ARI) has announced its ‘world exclusive’ launch of Butlers Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish gin-flavoured chocolates at The Loop, at Dublin and Cork Airports this month.

The new chocolate collection, which is available in both boxed and bar formats, is said to bring together the ‘exotic’ flavour of Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish gin with the ‘delectable taste’ of Butlers chocolates.

According to ARI, the chocolatiers at Butlers have succeeded in marrying delicate milk chocolate with the fresh citrus taste and spicy notes of oriental botanicals from Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish gin, creating a unique flavour sensation, ‘sure to delight gin lovers everywhere’.

This collaboration from two ‘highly regarded’ Irish brands is aligned to current consumer trends of Irish gin, which is the fastest-growing category at The Loop, confirms ARI.

INNOVATIVE NEW RANGE

Commenting on the collaboration, Paul Hunnisett, Global Head of Category at The Loop, said: “We are delighted to be working with Butlers and Drumshanbo Gunpowder gin to launch this innovative new range, which brings together our best-selling confectionery brand and best-selling gin at The Loop, Dublin and Cork Airports.

“Early sales have been extremely encouraging and we plan to keep the momentum going in to 2018.”

The exclusivity of this launch during December at The Loop, is testament to the joint commitment and promise to offer shoppers a  unique taste and shopping experience, adds ARI.
