Yves Saint Laurent (YSL) Beauty has unveiled its exclusive Summer Beauty Oasis pop-up at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. The animation went live on 15 June and will run at the location until 31 August.
The interactive space, which showcases YSL’s fragrance and makeup portfolio, is designed to immerse travellers in the brand universe.
The pop-up design and theme was inspired by the Majorelle Garden in Morocco, bought by Saint Laurent and his partner Pierre Bergé in 1980. It features the signature Majorelle shade of blue and a mosaic floor.
Visitors are invited to discover the YSL fragrance portfolio, with a focus on the key pillars Libre, Black Opium and Y. Placing their chosen scent on an interactive table activates a soothing wave on-screen. This is followed by a screening of the fragrance’s campaign, and a simultaneous spritz of the juice into the air.
Travellers who subsequently make a purchase can customise their fragrance via a UV printing service, which features a selection of exclusive patterns.
The pop-up also incorporates a dedicated beauty station where visitors can enjoy makeovers and trial the brand’s new eyeshadow palettes, including a travel retail exclusive created specifically for the Summer Beauty Oasis animation.
Other key elements include a digital entertainment zone where travellers are invited to play a game via a special app to win a range of prizes.
Prior to launching in Paris, in July the Yves Saint Laurent Summer Beauty Oasis event was present at Dubai International and Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airports.
