Hyderabad and Cathay offer 15% discounts

HYD Cathay discountHyderabad Duty Free Retail, the 100% subsidiary of GMR Hyderabad International Airport, has tied up a deal with airline, Cathy Pacific, to give passengers store discounts from July to the end of September.

Cathay Pacific travellers to and from Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (HYD) can now get a 15% shopping discount at the main duty free and travel retail stores on presentation of their boarding pass. The offer is available at both arrival and departure stores and is applicable to purchases of at least $125 in arrivals and $50 in departures.

Rajesh Menon, Regional Sales & Marketing Manager, South Asia, Cathay Pacific says: “Hyderabad is an important corporate hub for us and Rajiv Gandhi International Airport offers top-notch services. We are delighted to provide our customers with opportunities like these.”

HYD processed a total of 12.4m pax in 2015/16 (ending March) up +19% according to Airports Authority of India.
