Tom Ford Fall makeup hits counters

By Charlotte Turner |

Tom Ford’s Fall 2013 Color Collection, which focuses on ‘the art of the seductive eye’, will be available from London Heathrow Airport, Terminal 3 & 5; Dubai International Airport, Terminal 1, Concourse 3 and DFS Galleria Waikiki from September 2013.

At the heart of the collection are the two limited edition Ombré Eye Color Trio compacts containing “monochromatic shades that use light and depth to create a dynamic contrast,” says the brand. “An innovative, dual-ended Liquid Liner enhances the look, adding sophisticated and provocative definition.”

The collection comprises two new Tom Ford Ombré Eye Color Trio palettes which “masterfully shade and contour the eyes with an extraordinary play of contrast and light,” adds the brand.

The She Wolf trio compact contains the following shades: Deep Black/Brown, Light Charcoal, and Silver Lead. The In the Pink trio compact contains the following shades: Pink Rose, Pink Champagne, and Ballet Slipper Pink.

PRIMED TO PERFECTION

The compacts are complemented by the Tom Ford Eye Defining Pen, which features ‘a fine calligraphy tip’ on one end and a ‘pro brush’ on the other. The range also includes the Tom Ford Eye Primer, which is a duo of powder and cream formulas that work with the shadows to deliver ‘fifteen-hour, color-rich staying power’.

The stackable package holds a cream base formula containing the exclusive Infusion Complex, and a translucent pressed powder ‘that ensures your eye color will stay fresh all day’.

The collection is topped off with the Tom Ford Ultra Length Mascara in Ultra Raven, four Tom Ford Lip Colors and two Tom Ford Nail Lacquers.

DFS was sole retailer offering this line in Asian travel retail throughout the month of July, with Harold Brooks, President of Global Merchandising saying this ‘is a great opportunity for DFS in many regions’, including HKIA, which he described as ‘a shining star for us’.

At the time, Caroline Geerlings, President of Tom Ford Beauty, said: “We are pleased that our partnership with DFS will now allow us to introduce a new audience to Tom Ford Beauty. Created as the first true luxury brand of the twenty-first century, Tom Ford fragrances are artisanal scents designed with the fragrance connoisseur in mind. Tom Ford Beauty will no doubt resonate strongly with travelers at HKIA.”
