Furla opens store with Tallink through SKYlink

By Charlotte Turner |

Furla continues to expand its cruise-ship presence with a 10sq m generic space with Baltic Sear cruise/ferry operator, Tallink Group, through SKYlink.

The 980-cabin Silja Serenade ship operates between Finland and Sweden and is the first of all Tallink’s 18 vessels to have had a massive overhaul to its retail offer.  The previous 600sq m retail space has been more than double in size to 1,300sq m, creating the ‘Tax Free Superstore.”

The Tax Free Superstore features a series of new standalone category concepts including a large fashion boutique ‘Luxury’, where the new Furla space is located.

“The space has now been open for 2 months and initial results are most encouraging,” says Furla Global Travel Retail Director Gerry Munday.
