Viking Line veteran Eva Rehnström to step down at the end of June

Eva Rehnström has spent 19 years with Viking Line.

Viking Line Senior Category Manager Beauty & Fashion and SPA Eva Rehnström will depart at the end of this month after 19 years of service, the company has announced.

The public limited firm that provides passenger and cargo services across six vessels on the northern Baltic Sea and in the Gulf of Finland, said Rehnström is leaving to pursue ‘new challenges’.

TRBusiness can confirm that Rehnström will take up a new position leading the Rituals business in Finland from August.

As a highly respected industry executive, Rehnström is a former Chair of the Nordic Travel Retail Group and serves on the Managing Board of the European Travel Retail Confederation as VP Maritime Affairs.

In a note shared with business partners, Wilhelm Hård af Segerstad, Senior Vice President and Head of the Shipboard Commercial Operations at Viking Line, confirmed that a search for a successor has already begun.

“Eva has spent 19 years with Viking Line and has tremendously contributed to the business and development of beauty & fashion and spa within the company,” read the note.

“I also very much appreciate her great effort with international assignments that she has handled for many years. I would like to personally thank Eva for excellent work and wish her a lot of success in her new challenges.”
