Ballantine’s 40yo returns to Asia TR
By Doug Newhouse |
Pernod Ricard Asia Travel Retail is releasing a new 100-bottle allocation of its top of the range Ballantine’s 40 Year Old expression.
The company says that only 100 bottles have been produced worldwide this year, with limited quantities available in Incheon, Gimhae and Gimpo airports in Korea [a Ballantine’s market stronghold-Ed], plus Japan’s Narita International Airport and Tokyo’s Haneda Airport.
Ballantine’s and its airport operator partners will be supporting the product with special displays in key duty free shop locations.
This year’s release follows a limited release of this same line from Ballantine’s last year where 100 bottles were made available to key airports in Korea, Singapore and Macau, as well as Korean Air [click here: http://www.trbusiness.com/index.php/regional/asia/12415-rare-ballantines-40-year-old-proves-popular-in-asia.html].
