China Travel Retail Summit (CTR) and China Airport Commercial Summit (ACS) to co-locate

By Charlotte Turner |

Ink, organisers of the Airline Retail Conference (ARC), will ‘co-locate’ its third China Travel Retail Summit (CTR), with the seventh China Airport Commercial Summit (ACS), targeting suppliers, travel retailers and airport commercial players.

CTR/ACS 2014 will be taking place in the Longemont Shanghai Hotel on November 12th – 13th, 2014. The expected 200-plus delegates will be ‘entertained’ with a two-day conference “tackling the most pressing issues in China travel retail and airport commercial operations,” says Ink.

The show includes a 20-plus stand exhibition and many networking opportunities including one-to-one meetings. CTR/ACS 2014 Shanghai will conduct specialised sessions on: Brand awareness in travel retail; China’s traveller’s consumption habits; the city culture & commercial characteristic; duty-free world; announcement of business partner’s plan and the future of travel retail in China.

Colin Hall, Managing Director Trade Media & Events, said: “Co-locating CTR and ACS was an easy decision to make, bringing together as it does all the players involved in travel retail and airport commercial operations.

“Our conference programme includes several carefully designed break-out sessions to ensure that all our delegate streams will see their most pressing questions addressed.”
