New TUMI luggage collection only at DFS HKIA from October

By Caroline Sargent |

TUMI is set to unveil a new collection of luggage, available exclusively at the DFS store at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) from October.

The new design trio comprises the Alpha Bravo Kingsville Deluxe Brief Pack, Just In Case Travel Duffel and the Alpha 2 International Expandable 4 Wheeled Carry-On.

Available in an exclusive bespoke, rich Baltic blue with an orange trim and lining, the collection also features a unique luggage tag, depicting the iconic Hong Kong tram in the forefront, alongside the famous neon lights of the city, and offers travellers the brand’s ‘trademark superior quality, functionality and design excellence.’

For the man on the move

Ideal for everyday use or a short trip, the Alpha Bravo Kingsville Deluxe Brief Pack is a versatile and stylish bag for today’s man on the move. Replete with a host of organizer pockets, including front and side zip pockets for storing the latest gadgets, plus dedicated iPad and laptop pockets, the bag also includes an exterior waterproof pocket, ideal for water bottles and umbrellas and eliminating the fear of damaging electronic equipment on the go.

Made from TUMI’s exclusive FXT ballistic nylon with an adjustable strap, the Alpha Bravo Kingsville Deluxe Brief Pack is priced at HK$4,290.

Multi-purpose carry-on bag

The Just In Case Travel Duffel is a lightweight, stylish multi-functional bag for everyday use. A useful hand carry-on bag, it also folds flat to be packed with other items, or works well as a shopping tote with top zip closure to ensure easy accessibility.

Made from nylon with an elegant leather trim, featuring the symbolic drawings of the Hong Kong tram and neon sign, this design is available at DFS priced HK$990.

Multi-directional carry-on case

The Alpha 2 International Expandable 4 Wheeled Carry-On incorporates over 30 design improvements and 14 patented and trademarked TUMI components to ensure the journey is as smooth as possible. There are interior accessory pockets for gadgets, a large, U- shaped exterior pocket for travel documents or books, and even a special Lever Lock expansion system that opens securely to unveil two tiers of expansion for additional packing.

The 360 degree swivel wheels are recessed into the body of the case to allow for even more packing room, and offer super-smooth, multi-directional navigation as the traveller glides towards his gate. Presented in the stylish blue and orange colourway with smart contracting handles, this edition is priced HK$5,690.
