In the wake of its successful brand refresh last year, Belgian chocolatier Duc d’O – the biggest producer of flaked chocolate truffles in the world – has launched an optimized luxury bag to enhance its premium retail offer.

 

Consumers will find the addition of a closure clip makes it easier to open and close the bag after use, compared to the glue strip which was present before. The packaging also gets an improved quality seal, using special inks to create a more authentic, luxurious and artisanal appearance, and replaces the old neutral foil with a branded milky version.

 

Completing the pack overhaul, the two vertically positioned 100g trays of truffles are replaced by four 50g trays stacked horizontally, ensuring all flakes stay in place instead of dropping to the bottom of the packaging.

 

Winning new taste

 

Presenting the latest addition to their Intense Collection of flaked truffles, Duc d’O have announced the release of a dark truffle with cherry.

 

Based on the authentic dark truffle recipe made with 100% natural ingredients, Duc d’O Dark Truffle with Cherry follows the brand’s typically authentic and artisan production process, with the truffle being enriched with real and freeze-dried pieces of cherry and all natural cherry flavours.

 

The new taste joins White with Strawberry, Milk with Hazelnut and Milk with Crunchy Biscuit and will be available in three packaging formats: a 100g box, a 200g box and the new improved Duc d’O luxury bag.
