Tourvest lists cult beauty brand Dr. Lipp on British Airways

Tourvest, British Airways’ inflight concessionaire, has introduced British cult beauty brand Dr. Lipp, famous for its long-lasting multipurpose SOS balm.

Dr. Lipp is claimed to help soothe dry lips, cuticles, elbows and any distressed or problematic dry skin. It has a thick, ultra-hydrating formula that is said to be a counter-irritant with hypoallergenic properties and is tasteless and odourless.

Described as the ‘original nipple balm for lips’ the product (£9/$15.30 for 15ml on board) has plenty of endorsements from celebrity make-up artists.

Adding her appraisal, Katy Mason (left), Tourvest’s UK Buying Manager for British Airways inflight retail, says: “Dr. Lipp is a great all-round make-up product to have in your bag… so many uses, tiny and cute. This also makes it perfect for airlines.”

Tourvest also interviewed two BA cabin crew, Samantha and Lisa, about the product. Samantha says: “My lips were moisturised and well hydrated, only applying once or twice during the long flight. I was worried the product would be greasy but I was pleasantly surprised (and it) doesn’t have a taste or fragrance which I really liked.”

Lisa adds: Dr. Lipp’s thick and smooth consistency glides effortlessly across the lip, but more importantly it lasts. I will be using this on flights from now on.”

Dr. Lipp claims to be100% natural and free from parabens, fragrances, sulphates, mineral oil, petrolatum, colouring agents, T.E.A, D.E.A, silicones etc and is made from 100% ultra-pure medical grade lanolin. Lanolin oils are said to naturally mimic the skin’s own oils.
