YSL hosts series of exclusive VIP Asia beauty events

By Caroline Sargent |

L’Oréal Travel Retail reports two successful Yves Saint Laurent VIP workshops held late August in the downtown stores of King Power Thailand and DFS Sun Plaza Hong Kong, to promote this year’s luxury skincare launch, Or Rouge.

Loyal customers were invited to discover the three products within the prestigious anti-ageing skincare range, and to indulge in the YSL Beauté experience. Deluxe facial and hand massage services were also offered at the events, which form part of the company’s strategy to raise brand awareness among the ‘ever-blooming’ Asian market.

YSL declared the events an undoubted success in that they managed to achieve record sales in both the King Power and Sun Plaza locations.

In other news, YSL introduced this summer an all-new dual colour product for cheeks and lips, Kiss & Blush, embarking on a series of activations across the Asia Pacific region which also went down well.

The product found new audiences at DFS Sun Plaza in Hong Kong, The Four Seasons Hotel in Macau, and Lotte and Shilla Hotel in Korea.
