Les Clos Haut BrionLe Clos, the Dubai-based fine wine and luxury spirits retailer owned by Emirates has been chosen to sell a luxury console and chest designed by Prince Robert of Luxembourg and Viscount Linley of London which is said to be ‘one of its kind’ at Dubai International Airport.

Le Clos has long held a very good reputation as a retailer of fine wine and this console contains eight rarely available vintage wines produced by Château Haut Brion since 1935.

However, it is the hand-crafted console and chest designed by Prince Robert, President of Domaine Clarence Dillon, together with Lord Linley of London that is expected to attract plenty of interest, despite its estimated valuation at Dhms1.1m ($305,555).

“We have had a long-standing relationship with Le Clos, and are constantly amazed by their global network of partnerships and their expertise and passion for the wine industry,” said Jean-Philippe Delmas, Managing Director of Haut Brion.

“It was important for us to select a retailer who is experienced at bringing rare and unique products to market and also who embodies the ethos and values of the Domaine Clarence Dillon. For us, Le Clos was a natural fit.”
