DDF and Puig open CH pop-up store at DXB

Dubai Airports’ duty free retailer, Dubai Duty Free and fashion and fragrance house Puig have opened the world’s first airport pop-up shop for its new fragrance collection, Herrera Confidential, at Dubai International Airport (DXB).

The pop-up, erect for two months in August and September at Dubai Airport’s Concourse C, will showcase a new and exclusive collection of perfumes from the House of Herrera.

Herrera Confidential is a project driven by the mother-daughter duo, Carolina Herrera and Carolina Herrera de Baez, introducing six fragrances and four essential oils.

The pop-up site will operate 24/7, supported by a team of specially-trained beauty advisors.

“Where better to invite global consumers through the doors of the House of Herrera than Dubai Airport? It’s probably the most eclectic cross-roads of people on the planet,” said Buddy Abrahams, GM Travel Retail, Middle East at Puig.

“Once again, Dubai Duty Free has responded to Puig’s ambition to deliver unique, exclusive storytelling experiences for our brands in the Middle East.

The striking Herrera Confidential project is a great example of partnership and innovation, providing very intimate access behind the scenes to the dynamic Carolina Herrera brand.”

Saba Tahir, Vice President for Purchasing of Dubai Duty Free said: “Dubai Duty Free is a premier location for fragrances worldwide and we continue to deliver impressive growth in this category.

“Bringing unique experiences such as the airport premiere of Herrera Confidential is a key part of our strategy. I’d like to thank Puig for continuing to define itself as a dynamic and forward thinking brandowner and to the House of Herrera for granting this unprecedented glance into the family’s rich history in fragrances.”
