The acclaimed tennis star’s first shop in the Czech Republic opened on 27 June.

Prague Václav Havel Airport (PRG) has unveiled a new fashion store at Terminal 2 from famous tennis star Björn Borg.

The eponymous outlet, which measures 62sq m, opened last month (27 June) at the end of Pier D. This followed victory in a competitive tender for the space.

It is the brand’s first business unit in the Czech Republic.

“There was no such mono-brand sportswear or footwear store in Terminal 2 before now, so we are very pleased to add Björn Borg to our airport’s offerings,” a spokesperson told TRBusiness.

As reported, Lagardère Travel Retail won a 10-year duty free contract covering 24 business units over 4,372sq m across both of PRG’s terminals last month.
