ASUR August traffic rises by 10.6%

The ASUR airports group and the operator of Cancún Airport and eight other airports in south-east Mexico, says total passenger traffic for August 2014 rose by 10.6%.The main highlights included a 9.6% rise in international traffic at Cancún Airport to 956,493 in August 2014 and a 49.1% rise at Cozumel Airport to 30,841. The total international passenger count at all nine main airports rose by 10.2% to 1,022,952. These numbers exclude transit and general aviation passengers.ASUR is also a 50% joint venture partner in Aerostar Airport Holdings, LLC, the operator of Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
