As pre-empted by TRBusiness in December, Lagardère Travel Retail has now opened its first Aelia Duty Free store in addition to an exclusive restaurant concept, Kepar Café, at Nouakchott-Oumtounsy International Airport, in Mauritania.
Lagardère Travel Retail continued its development in West Africa in December with the opening of a new Relay store at the main train station in Dakar, Senegal. The official opening was attended by the Senegalese President, according to information shared with TRBusiness by a Lagardère spokesperson this morning. The new generation Relay store opened following a ‘massive refurbishment’ which was completed in December.
“As Senegal celebrates the launch of its brand new inter-regional train, which will significantly ease mobility in and around Dakar, we have been honoured to receive the visit of Senegalese President, Macky Sall in the new Relay store we have opened at Dakar station,” confirmed Lagardère TR on its Linkedin feed
