Giorgio Armani Box pop-up roadshow arrives at BKK

Armani_BoxBangkokThe travelling Armani Box pop-up has set down at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport (BCC), Giorgio Armani Beauty has announced.

Its arrival at the departure hall until 28 February follows spells at Sydney Airport and Haitang Bay Duty Free Shopping Complex in Sanya, Hainan province.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony took place on 11 February as part of an exclusive event that drew influencers from Thailand and China.

Guests to the Armani Box store are greeted by its hot red walls and black lighting fixtures.

Inside, they can become movie stars using the ‘Walk of Fame’ digital handprint and film their own screen test by entering a director’s booth where they can take portrait photos and videos to share online. Meanwhile, a red carpet leads the way to backstage make-up stations.

Meanwhile, the brand’s giant model gorilla Uri returns to greet visitors at the entrance.

Created by Italian artist Marcantonio Raimondi Malberba, the full-sized, golden gorilla is a replica of the black one that resides in Giorgio Armani’s home in Milan.

‘The Armani Box is a sensorial and playful immersion in Giorgio Armani’s beauty universe,” said the brand. “Visitors can discover product exclusives including a limited edition version of its new lip product Rouge d’Armani Matte #400, and personalise their products with engraving.”
