DFS Group partnered with Look Good Feel Better (LGFB) Australia to host an exclusive event celebrating beauty and positivity at T Galleria by DFS, Sydney on 5 August, in support of those affected by cancer.
DFS Group’s landmark store, located in the historic Rocks area of the city, was transformed especially for the event, which was attended by a select list of invitees.
High-profile personalities who took part in the special occasion included fashion designer Karen Gee and contemporary art dealer Lyons Gallery, as well as VIP customers, media guests and representatives of the global beauty world.
The event also served to kick-start the luxury travel retailer’s Annual Beauty Campaign which, as reported, features the Group’s first-ever virtual universe titled DFS World.
“It is our honour to partner with Look Good Feel Better Australia to host this exclusive evening with our valued customers here in Sydney, as part of our global Annual Beauty Campaign,” said Prashant Mahboobani, DFS Vice President of Operations for Australia and New Zealand.
“DFS is proud to stand with LGFB to empower cancer patients across Australia to face their diagnosis with confidence.”

Guests were also invited to take part in a silent auction for bumper beauty hampers from Givenchy, Estée Lauder and Sisley, with the proceeds going to LGFB Australia.
LGFB Australia is an independent not-for-profit organisation that operates a free, national community service programme dedicated to helping adults and teens manage the appearance-related side-effects of cancer treatment.
Through LGFB, beauty professionals across Australia volunteer their time and expertise to teach patients practical tips to maintain their appearance and regain their positivity and confidence.

Pam Clifford, a representative of LGFB Australia and three-time cancer survivor made an inspiring speech.
At the event, Pam Clifford, a representative of LGFB Australia and three-time cancer survivor, spoke from the heart about how undergoing chemotherapy can often lead to negative self-esteem.
Clifford concluded her speech by sharing how grateful she is to be a cancer survivor and thanking attendees for helping to raise vital funds for LGFB Australia.
To further support LGFB, DFS has pledged to donate a percentage of all beauty sales in August and September. This is in addition to proceeds from the event ticket sales and silent auction.
